CanaSound & Elektra Mobile Audio Limited Warranty Policy

1. Warranty Coverage & Duration CanaSound and Elektra Mobile Audio stand behind the quality of our products. We offer the following limited warranties to the original purchaser for products purchased directly from an Authorized Dealer:

  • Amplifiers: 1-Year Limited Warranty

  • Subwoofers & Loudspeakers: 1-Year Limited Warranty

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship ONLY. It is not an insurance policy and is strictly non-transferable.

2. Warranty Exclusions (What is NOT Covered) This warranty is void if the product has been modified, repaired by anyone other than an authorized CanaSound/Elektra technician, or operated outside of its listed specifications. Wear and tear are NOT considered manufacturer defects.

Additionally, this warranty does NOT cover damage resulting from:

  • Improper installation, wiring, or use of an improper enclosure.

  • Accidental damage, misuse, or abuse.

  • Burnt voice coils or other damage resulting from excessive power.

  • Missing or Altered Serial Numbers: This warranty is immediately void if the factory-applied serial number has been altered, defaced, or removed.

Note: CanaSound and Elektra Mobile Audio reserve the right to make the final, sole determination of whether damage was caused by a manufacturing defect or user error/abuse.

3. Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) & Shipping All warranty claims must be accompanied by a copy of the original sales invoice or receipt.

  • RMA Requirement: You must contact us via email requesting an RMA Request Form to obtain an RMA number prior to sending any returns. RMA numbers are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Packages arriving without a valid RMA number or after the 30-day window will be refused.

  • Inbound Shipping: The customer is responsible for the cost of safely packaging and shipping the product to us for warranty consideration. In the event of shipping damage due to improper packaging, the customer is liable for the cost of all damages, necessary repairs, or replacement. Please retain your tracking number.

  • Return Shipping: If the product is covered under warranty, ground shipping back to the customer will be covered by CanaSound/Elektra Mobile Audio (valid only within the Canadian Provinces and Contiguous 48 US States. Customers in territories, Hawaii, Alaska, or international locations are responsible for all shipping costs, duties, and taxes).

  • Non-Warranty Returns: If the product is replaced or repaired outside of warranty, if no defect is found, or if you choose to have your product returned without repair, you will be billed for the return shipping.

4. Resolution & Abandoned Products At our sole discretion, a product covered under warranty will be repaired, replaced, or (if the item is discontinued or out of stock) exchanged for a different item of like kind and quality.

  • Abandoned Product Clause: If a product requires payment for non-warranty repairs or return shipping, we will invoice the customer. If the invoice remains unpaid for 14 days after notification, the product will be considered abandoned and will be disposed of or recycled at our sole discretion.

5. Limitation of Liability & Legal Rights In no event will CanaSound or Elektra Mobile Audio be liable for incidental, consequential, or other damages resulting from the use of this product. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to hearing, property, or person, damage based upon inconvenience or loss of use of the product, and to the extent permitted by law, damages for personal injury.

ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE LENGTH OF THIS EXPRESS WARRANTY. Some provinces or states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from province to province or state to state.

Severability: If any provision of this warranty is found to be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from this warranty and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
